Microsoft officially introduced Windows 11

First major cosmetic update in 6 years.
On June 24, as part of a large online presentation, Microsoft introduced the new operating system Windows 11. It has noticeably changed in appearance, has become more secure and faster, and also acquired a number of new useful functions.
The system interface has inherited some features canceled Windows 10X. For example, icons on the taskbar, like the Start menu button, are now centered by default. In the settings, they can be moved to the left if you are used to this arrangement on Windows 10.
In the "Start" itself, there is now no hint of tiles - instead of them, pinned applications, as well as files and programs used in recent sessions. At the top there is a button to go to all programs, and at the bottom of this block icons are displayed for accessing downloads, files and system settings.
All windows received rounding at the corners promised by insiders and a translucent design. The Stream of Interests, which appeared with the latest update of Windows 10, also corresponds to the new style of the system and at the same time offers not only news and weather, but also a large set of widgets.
In this block, you can display currency rates, traffic data, notes, calendar and any other informers - just like on Android.
System icons, switches, search menus and buttons have also changed - everything has become more uniform and consistent, both in the light interface theme and in the dark one.
For simultaneous work in multiple programs, convenient Snap Layouts for organizing windows are now provided, which will be especially useful on large displays.
With the Snap Group function, multiple running applications can be combined into one group. Such spikes can be saved for various work scenarios so that, for example, when you return to work tasks, you do not have to configure everything again. Even after turning off the PC, all groups will be saved.
The proprietary Edge browser has also changed. With one click, the tabs in it can now be arranged vertically, which will be convenient when working with a large number of open pages.
Teams is now integrated with Windows. It is proposed to use it not only for communication with colleagues, but also for communication with friends and relatives, including via video communication.
On tablets, Windows 11 now automatically repositions apps when changing device orientation and recognizes more user-friendly gestures. More precise tactile feedback will appear when working with the stylus.
Especially for gamers, Windows 11 introduces native Auto-HDR support for better picture quality in thousands of modern games. And the Xbox app will now have a Game Pass and xCloud subscription for cloud gaming (xCloud).
The Windows 11 upgrade will be completely free for all Windows 10 users. Full release of the operating system in the fall of 2021.
The material is being supplemented.
Recall that a working build of an early build of Windows 11 hit to the Network last week.
