This is a hexagon or diamond shaped neck that you can do deadlift and other exercises, keeping hands not in front of the body, but on the sides. This design relieves the load on the lower back and allows you to work with large weights without the risk of tearing your back.
In addition to the trap bar, you can make shrugs and a farmer's sinking. And if it is made in the form of a hexagon without one side, there are also lunges, pulls to the chest and other exercises.

How much does an axel weigh
This is a 50mm thick bar (versus 25-29mm for standard and Olympic), which is used in extreme power competitions and is suitable for strengthening the grip strength.
The axel has no standard either in length or in weight, so it can weigh either 8–12 or 20 kg.
