Thick strawberry jam

Rich, viscous syrup and lots of berry nibs, this thick and aromatic strawberry jam is well worth the time.

Ingredients
- Strawberry 2 kg
- Sugar 800 g
- Lemons 2 pieces
Cooking method
Cut the strawberries into small pieces. Place in a large container.
Add 200-250 g sugar and lemon juice. Stir, cover and refrigerate for 6-8 hours.
Throw the berries in a colander, and pour all the resulting juice into a saucepan.

Pour the remaining sugar into the juice. Place over medium heat and cook, stirring often, for about 25 minutes. The syrup should be approximately halved.
It is not necessary to remove the emerging foam.
Put the berries in the syrup. After boiling, cook for about 20 minutes more.

Arrange the jam in sterilized jars, roll up and turn over. Wrap something warm and cool. The jam will thicken after cooling. Store it in a cool, dark place.
