Power saving mode iPadOS 15 and macOS Monterey

Previously, it was only on iOS.
Apple on Monday revealed upcoming updates to its operating systems, including iPadOS 15 and macOS Monterey. Beta for developers was immediately released, and they continue to find new features that were not announced at the presentation. So, for example, it turned out that now a power-saving mode has appeared in systems for Apple tablets and computers. Here's how to enable it on new platforms.
Power saving mode on iPad
If you are an iPhone user, there is nothing new for you. The tablet will automatically prompt you to switch to this mode when the charge level drops to 20% (and again - when it reaches 10%, if you decide not to do this the first time).
You can also open the "Battery" item in the settings and turn the switch next to the "Power saving mode" item to the active position at any time. If you use this feature frequently, you can add an icon to the Control Center.
Power saving mode on Mac
The process is slightly different, but still pretty simple. You need to open "System Preferences" → "Battery" and find the item "Power Saving Mode". In the first beta of macOS Monterey, there are no indicators that the mode is active, or any way to get quick access to this feature.
