Samsung unveils Galaxy A22 and A22 5G with 90Hz screens and 5000mAh batteries

Samsung replenished a line of inexpensive smartphones with the Galaxy A22 and A22 5G models. As the name implies, the second received support for fifth generation networks, but this is far from its only difference.
Samsung Galaxy A22 5G
The 5G version received a 6.6-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels, a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a V-shaped notch for an 8 megapixel selfie camera.
Inside the smartphone is an eight-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor (7 nm) with Mali-G57 MC2 graphics. The amount of RAM - 4, 6 or 8 GB (LPDDR4x), built-in memory - 64 or 128 GB (UFS 2.1). There is support for microSD cards. The battery has a capacity of 5,000 mAh and supports 15W charging via the USB-C port.
The main camera includes a 48MP main sensor, a 5MP wide-angle sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. This includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm audio jack, Dolby Atmos support, dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.1. Such a novelty will cost from 229 euros (≈20,300 rubles).

The base variant with LTE support is equipped with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1600 × 720 pixels and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. A 13MP selfie camera is hidden in the U-shaped notch at the top.
The main camera is notable for a 48-megapixel main module with optical image stabilization. It is complemented by an 8MP wide-angle sensor and a pair of 2MP. The rest of the smartphone is almost identical to the older version, including the lack of contactless payment via NFC. The cost of this model is still unknown.
