IOS 14.6 users complain about iPhone accelerated discharge

More and more complaints about the autonomy of the iPhone appear on the web after installation iOS 14.6. On the Apple and MacRumors forums writethat immediately after the update, their gadgets began to discharge much faster.

For example, one of the iPhone 12 users reported loss of 30% charge per night. And the owner of the iPhone XR noted not only an accelerated discharge, but also memory problems, as well as closing applications and tabs.

IPhone 12 Pro Max user reported about the acceleration of the discharge and the heating of the case in the area of ​​the chambers - and also after the update to 14.6.

Similar complaints appeared on Reddit, where one of the users of the iPhone 12 mini showed noticeable battery discharge in idle mode. In the comments, many noted that their gadgets also started to sit down faster after a recent update.

Some attribute these problems to the addition of AirTags and the constantly active beacon search feature. But other users write about fast discharge even in flight mode. According to another version, a new podcast application is to blame, which remains active even when inactive.

AppleInsider considersthat the problem is not yet widespread, since the number of complaints is much less than, for example, it was in December last year in a similar situation with iPhone 12. Apple has not yet commented on the new problems, but it is possible that the errors will be fixed with the next system update.
