Potato grandma is a popular dish of Belarusian cuisine. A casserole of grated potatoes, chicken and onions turns out to be tender, appetizing and ruddy.
Grate the potatoes and half of the onion on a coarse grater, squeeze lightly.
Chop the remaining onion. Cut the chicken into small pieces.
In a skillet, heat the vegetable oil over high heat and fry the fillets with onions for 5 minutes. Season with salt, pepper and spices.
Mix fried chicken and onions with grated potatoes, 2 tablespoons of flour, sour cream and salt.
Grease a baking dish with butter and sprinkle with the rest of the flour. Put the potato mass in it and flatten.
Bake the grandma at 200 ° C for about 40–45 minutes.
