It will be much more convenient to use one tablet with the whole family.
Google has officially introduced Entertainment Space or "Entertainment Space". This is a standalone application made specifically for Android tablets. It will make it easier to read books, watch videos and play games.
On my Google blog writesthat the demand for tablets over the past year has grown by more than 30%. And to make these devices even more user-friendly, the company has decided to release a "one-stop, personalized home for your favorite movies, shows, videos, games and books."
Entertainment Space will save you time and eliminate the need to switch between applications for different types of content - now everything is available in one place. Each family member will be able to create their own individual profile with personalized recommendations.
In total, the service offers three tabs:
- Watch - Here you can switch between streaming services, search for movies and TV shows, rent or buy them on Google TV, and watch recommended YouTube videos.
- "Play" - a tab with games from Google Play, where the last open games, recommendations and selections will be displayed. Some simple arcade games and puzzles can be tried out directly in Entertainment Space without the need to download.
- "Read" - electronic and audio books from the Google Play service with selections, saving reading progress and personal recommendations.
For now, Entertainment Space will only be offered on Walmart tablets as well as Lenovo and Sharp devices. Later, the service should become available worldwide as part of the standard Android launcher.
