Apple is preparing a number of visual changes and improvements in iOS and iPadOS 15, which will be presented this summer. About it informs Bloomberg in a new report.

In particular, they plan to add to the firmware the ability to change notification settings depending on user status (they will be added to the night one while driving, at work, as well as unique user modes). For each of them, you can choose whether to play sound or vibration.

It will also be possible to automatically reply to messages and incoming calls, depending on the status. Now it only works while driving, allowing you to send messages like "I'm driving, I'll call back later." Status settings appear on the lock screen and in Control Center.

According to the same report, the iPad home screen will also change. Widgets can be placed on any part of the screen, just like on the iPhone. In addition, users will be able to fill the entire display with widgets and remove all applications.

Apple also plans to add a new privacy menu that will allow you to see which apps are secretly collecting information about them. This continues Apple's fight against the imposition of advertising surveillance, which began in iOS 14. At the same time, macOS, watchOS and tvOS updates will be interim updates, without major design changes.

Apple is expected to showcase new versions of its operating systems in June at WWDC 2021, and the public release of new firmware will take place closer to September.
