How to export posts from Facebook to Google Drive
Miscellaneous / / April 20, 2021
You can transfer photos, videos, notes and text publications.
If you want to create an archive of your Facebook posts (for example, to save everything before a large-scale cleaning of posts or a complete deleting an account), it is not difficult to do this thanks to the function that is already in the service.
Open your account settings and find the "Your information on Facebook" section. Here you need to select the option "Transfer a copy of the data". It is important to understand here that we are talking about copies: the posts themselves will not go anywhere, and if necessary, they will have to be deleted manually.
Next, choose what types of posts you want to transfer: text posts, photos, videos, or notes. Posts and notes can be transferred to Google Docs or WordPress, photos and videos to Google Photos, Dropbox, Koofr or Backblaze B2.
If you chose to export to Google, you will need to log in to the required account and give Facebook access to files and the ability to create new ones. After that, the export application will be completed: when everything is ready, the files will appear in your "Google Drive".
Due to the peculiarities of export, you will have to create several applications if you want to pull posts from Facebook in all formats. The status of applications will be displayed in the same section.
