Jamie Oliver's Shepherd's Pie

Aromatic lamb with spices and tomatoes is hidden under a layer of mashed potatoes. The famous chef's shepherd's pie is amazing.

Ingredients
- Sweet pepper 1 piece
- Purple onion 2 pieces
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Ginger 1 piece
- Olive oil 2 tbsp spoons
- Minced lamb 500 g
- Garam masala 1 tbsp the spoon
- Cinnamon 1 stick
- Cardamom 3-4 boxes
- Tomatoes in their own juice 400 g
- Green peas 100 g
- Salt to taste
- Ground black pepper to taste
- Potatoes 1 kg
- Butter 1 tbsp. the spoon
- Milk 100-150 ml
Cooking method
Pepper seeds and cut into small pieces along with onions, garlic and ginger.
In a skillet, heat a spoonful of olive oil over high heat. Fry the minced meat with garam masala, cinnamon and cardamom for 5-6 minutes. Stir constantly. Then put a bowl in the minced meat.
Reduce heat to medium and sauté the onion, ginger and garlic for 5 minutes. Add the peppers and cook for another 5 minutes.
Add canned tomatoes and half of the liquid from them. Stir well and use a spatula to crush the tomatoes lightly, dividing them into pieces.
Increase heat and bring to a boil. Then add the minced meat, stir and simmer over low heat for 20-25 minutes. Stir occasionally.
Add the peas to the minced meat along with salt and pepper, and remove the cinnamon stick. Mix well.
Peel the potatoes and cut into slices. Boil until tender in 15-20 minutes.
Empty the pan. Add butter, milk, salt and pepper. Mash the potatoes to make a puree.
Put the minced meat in the form, and spread the potatoes in an even layer on top of it. Drizzle lightly with olive oil.
Bake for about 30 minutes at 200 ° C.
