Festive pizza on March 8

An edible gift doesn't have to be sweet. Prepare an original 8-shaped pizza and present it as a surprise.

Ingredients

• Flour 170-180 g + for sprinkling
• Dry yeast 4 g
• Salt ½ tsp spoons
• Sugar ½ tbsp. spoons
• Water 100 ml
• Olive oil 20 ml
• Tomato paste 50 g
• Water 20-30 ml
• Oregano 1 tsp a spoon
• Salt to taste
• Ground red pepper to taste
• Olive oil 2 tsp spoons
• Sausage 100-150 g
• Cherry tomatoes 3-5 pieces
• Mozzarella or other cheese 150 g
• Greens to taste

Cooking method

• Sift flour and combine with yeast.

• Dissolve salt and sugar in water and mix with butter. Pour flour in portions and mix with a spatula.

• Knead a soft dough, cover with a napkin and leave in a warm place for 30–35 minutes.

• For the sauce, combine tomato paste with water, oregano, salt, paprika, and olive oil.

• Divide the dough into pieces so that one is slightly larger than the other.

• Roll out the dough into thin, round layers and place on a lightly floured baking sheet so that a figure of eight is formed. Cut round holes in the middle of each piece of figure 8.

• Cut the hearts out of the sausage.

• Spread the sauce over the pizza. Arrange the sausage and cherry tomato slices and sprinkle with coarsely grated cheese.

• Bake for about 15 minutes at 220 ° C. Garnish the pizza with herbs when serving.
