Google Play store on Android gets a new main menu
Miscellaneous / / April 08, 2021
Now it looks like the App Store.
Google continues to update its branded services, bringing them to a common look. The turn came to the Google Play store, which received a new main menu that replaced the usual list on the side.
An automatic prompt will notify you of the update, which will show that now all the settings and parameters of the account are moved up to the right corner. The menu is accessed by clicking on the profile icon. The menu itself now opens on top of the screen in a separate window.
The main menu now has not only library management, but also convenient access to your account. This will be especially useful if there are several of them on the device. In addition, the appearance of the main settings has changed - all the items there are now collected in 4 groups, which greatly simplifies the search for the desired options.
The new Google Play menu is already appearing on smartphones around the world, but the update is spreading in waves, so it may have to wait.
