Fried calamari in lime wine sauce is a delicious main course that goes well with vegetables or rice.
Cut the squid into rings, the garlic into medium or large pieces.
In a skillet, heat oil and butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 10-15 seconds.
Place the squid rings in the same skillet. Cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.
Pour in wine and squeezed lime juice. Leave on the fire for literally a minute to simply warm up the sauce.
Season with salt, pepper, sprinkle with chopped herbs. Place on top of the rice, drizzle with the remaining sauce in the pan and serve immediately.
