In fact, it is not so much support from the outside that is important here as internal motivation. The words of other people upset, because their doubt responds in you and you yourself ask yourself the same questions: do I need it?
In such cases, I usually recommend writing a plaque with the pros and cons of fulfilling the dream.
It is also important to write down all the steps and break the goal into small tasks and intermediate goals, since it is very important for a person to see tangible results. Otherwise, the thought "everything I do has no meaning" will make you stop.
The main thing is not to demand too much of yourself. If you completely ignore the "here and now", then you can simply burn out without achieving the desired goal. Therefore, take breaks, look for joyful moments, in addition to constantly completing the tasks set on the way to the goal. Replenish your emotional resources with pleasant little things and favorite things, and don't forget to just relax.
A couple of weeks off will push back the achievement of the goal by a maximum of a couple of weeks, and the lack of a break can be so exhausting that you simply stop or push back the realization of your dream much further. When thinking about the time to achieve a goal, always give yourself a head start on unforeseen circumstances: it is impossible to control everything, and not everything depends on you. In addition, the more difficult the goal, the more time it takes to reach it.
