Here's a twist: Lifehacker no longer publishes PR columns
Edition / / January 07, 2021
The site has a column format where any reader of the publication can share his experience. Among Lifehacker's columnists are journalists, scientists, experts in various fields and just people who have learned something themselves and are ready to tell others about it.
The author's columns were also offered by various PR services: the editors posted them on the condition that the text does not contain advertising, and the material itself will be consistent with editorial policy, easy to read and tell the world something new.
From September 1, we decided to abandon the columns of PR services. In the proposed texts, there were more and more attempts to insert hidden advertising. Such materials did not reach the reader, but greatly hampered the work of the editorial board. The life hacker will release articles from brands already taken into work, but will not accept new topics.
Brand representatives can still tell about themselves on our website - but now only by contacting sales department. There are a million reasons to do this: a lot of views, an interesting presentation and a thoughtful approach to the tasks of the advertiser.

Any person with unique experience or expertise in any issue can become a columnist author of Lifehacker. From you - knowledge and willingness to work on the text, from the editorial office - help in publishing it.
