Color Labels - an indispensable tool for GTD supporters

There is one feature that is not to my knowledge not only in Windows XP, but in Vista (not sure about the latter). It's called Color Labels or colored labels. How to use it?

Color Labels - these are the same tag, only more advanced. In Mac OS X, you can mark individual files not only in color, that allows them to distinguish among the common masses. In labels / tags can be and their names (the default shortcuts are named by color - red, green, etc., but these settings can be changed in the Finder preferences).

All this provides a variety of use cases:

1. To sort files according to their own criteria. In the Finder, you can organize your files on multiple criteria (name, size, type), provided by the operating system. What if you want to sort the files by importance or priority? With Color Labels is simple enough. Create the appropriate labels mark their files on the fly, and then select the sorting mode, if necessary.
2. Keep track of the current status. This criterion suggested by David Pogue. You can mark labels progress in the work on the document. For example, part of the data is not ready, use a shortcut. Other projects completed - use a different label. The project is completed, but are waiting for solutions from third parties - a new label.
