Apple recognizes outstanding iOS and Mac apps

Apple named winners of the annual Apple Design Awards, which recognize the artistic and technical achievement of developers who released applications or their significant updates on Apple platforms over the last year (in this case, from June 2019 to June 2020). Here are some of the best projects:

Darkroom (iPhone, iPad)

A powerful photo and video editor, full of filters and fine manual adjustments, all packed into an elegant interface. Professionals will appreciate the ability to edit entire groups of images at once and work with RAW files, as well as the ability to create their own filters.

Looom (iPad)

A tool for creating hand-drawn animations - even if you have no experience, with this program you will quickly figure out what's what. It is intuitive enough for beginners, but powerful enough for professionals.

Sayonara Wild Hearts (iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV)

This game is called one of the main reasons to subscribe to Apple arcade. In fact, this is another variation on the Subway Surfers theme - but definitely one of the most stylish and sophisticated. Your goal is to heal your broken heart by racing your motorcycle through the neon metropolis and collecting hearts and emeralds.

Shapr 3D (iPad)

CAD programs usually require the use of a powerful computer with a lot of processing power. Shapr 3D puts an end to this state of affairs. It is a full-fledged 3D editor for iPad, compatible with most CAD formats and instantly exporting your designs for 3D printing.

Sky: Children of the Light (iPhone, iPad)

Some games reward sharpened reflexes, others impressive ambition. Sky: Children of the Light, on the other hand, offers players a different quality: generosity. Song of Bloom (iPhone, iPad)

Independent developer Philip Stollenmeyer is known for his interesting and weird physics-based puzzles.
