And on this account, you have tied all the important services, key information, and more. But now you have become an important businessman or a public person, and just a little grown up, and it's time to link your account, and your name. That is, to move on with [email protected] [email protected] (do not forget about Google Reader, Google Calendar and Google Docs). But to keep all the data and passwords, or at least to reduce the losses. How to do it? We read "collect suitcases" and moving.

Change the old Gmail account to a new
Unfortunately, there is no possibility to Gmail's so easy to take and move with all your luggage to the next, with a sonorous name. To do this you have to work with a mail client such as Outlook, to drag and drop messages between accounts.
You need to open access to both accounts in Gmail in the "desktop" e-mail client via IMAP. Setting in Gmail have a list of email clients that support IMAP. Also to be more productive, you need to enter the Advanced IMAP Features in Gmail Labs in both accounts (Old and new) and point out that he was showing you all of your shortcuts (including Sent and All post office). You can do this by going to Settings - Labels.
Prepare to move Gmail Account
The first thing to understand the messages and labels (remember that sent items, inbox and Saved - is also a shortcut). One type of simplification of work with them - is the creation of so-called multi-label. For example, if you have lots of messages marked as "1" and "2", you can create a multi-label "1 and 2" and combine it all messages that contain the labels "1" and "2"
Thus, in your desktop client, all messages will be in one place and their transfer to the new account will take much less time. When the message has already move into your new account, you can go back to their seats, removing the third, unifying label.
We move from the old to the new Gmail account from your desktop e-mail client
Once your old account has been prepared for the move, you need to prepare a new - to create the same folders and shortcuts that were present in the old. After that, you will need to go into your desktop client and begin to drag messages from the old folder to the new. Do this for all your folders / labels, including incoming and outgoing, but not yet touching the All Mail. After that, you will need to deal with the messages without labels, which are in the All Mail folder.
Before you take up posts with no labels, make sure that you move all marked messages from your old account to the new one, then they should be removed from the old one. This needs to be done, so then they are not duplicated in the folder "All Mail." After that, all your folders, in addition to All mail will be empty. Now you can safely allocate the remaining messages in the folder "All Mail" and drag and drop them into the same folder, but in the new account.
google Calendar
In order to move your primary Google Calendar, you need to go to Settings and click on the Calendar tab. There is a link to export your calendar by clicking on which you save in a single file to a Zip archive all your calendars in the iCalendar format.
Then go to your new account, again go to Settings - Calendar Settings - Calendar and create a new one. You name it and click on the link Import Calendar. .Ical select the file that will redirect to your main calendar and upload it using the Create a new empty calendar.
If you have multiple calendars that you want to move, you can go the other way. Go back to the settings, click on the Calendar tab in the first account, and select Share this calendar. In the address bar of the second account and click on the Add button. At the second address will come to notice that you have opened access to such a calendar, to confirm the need to go to the specified link in the email. In the future, the calendar in the second account will be opened automatically without the reference. Then you can in the second account, go to Settings and remove the address of the first account from the list to access the calendar. Thus the second new account is the only owner of the calendar. Similar actions you are doing with all of your calendars.
We move with Google Docs
Transfer your documents is usually quite simple account. You need to select the documents you want to transfer, select from the drop down menu "More Actions" "Change owner" and enter a new email address.
If you want to transfer the documents to the post office in another domain, have a little try. To do this, you need to allocate the necessary documents, all in the same menu "More Actions" select "Export". You will be prompted to choose the format in which to store your documents - MS Office, Open Office, or PDF. Selected and saved in a Zip archive. Then download the documentation you want from your computer to your new account.
google Reader
Transferring your rss subscription also did not take long. But it works only if your new account is also on Gmail. All you need to do - is go to your Google Reader - Settings and click on the Import / Export. At the bottom you will see a link "Export subscriptions as OPML file" that will download to your computer a file that will contain all of your subscriptions. Click on this link and then go to the same settings in the second account. Only in the second case, you click on the "Choose File" and select the file with your subscription. Once the file is uploaded, your whole strip will be displayed in the Reader in a new account. That's only in the new Google Reader account does not show the marked positions, read or not read, and you will have to review all the records again, as well as to deal with a list of friends.
