Telegram 6.2 introduces video editor

The Telegram messenger received a major update to version 6.2, with which a video editor appeared. It automatically improves the quality of the image, but if necessary, brightness, saturation and other parameters can be adjusted manually. To enter edit mode, click on the brush button before uploading the video.

There is also a function of adding text, pictures and stickers to the video, including animated ones. The latter can be added over the photo. In this case, the picture is automatically converted to a GIF file.

In the GIF selection panel, there are now sections with popular animated pictures and selections on various emotions. The animation you like can be saved to the list of recently sent ones by holding your finger on it. Besides, in the new version of the messenger, the speed of loading GIF files has been significantly improved.

Another improvement is the quick addition of chats to folders. Now you can just hold your finger on the desired chat and send it to the folder. They are deleted in the same way.

Other changes include:

• added smooth animations when sending, editing and deleting messages;
• when viewing videos, the control panel disappears after three seconds, long descriptions do not interfere with viewing, and videos shorter than 30 seconds now play in a circle;
• updated interface for cleaning unnecessary files;
• The monkey is now watching over the 2-Step Verification password in the settings.
