Byte is a new short video service from the creator of Vine

Vine co-founder Dom Hofmann announced about the launch of a new Byte service designed to record and publish six-second videos.

From megapopular TikTok this service is distinguished not only by the short duration of videos, but also by the support of content authors. In the near future, a pilot version of the affiliate program will be presented, which will allow users to earn money on their videos.

In Byte, you can shoot or load ready-made vertical and horizontal videos. There is a convenient feed for searching videos by title or sections dedicated to humor, pets, games, sports, music and more. Likes, comments and convenient functions for sending content through other applications are also present.

Byte is already available for Android and iOS.
