Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a (5G) pricing revealed

The German publication Technik News has published European prices and a number of details about the upcoming Google news. Specifically, we expect the flagship Pixel 5 (no XL version this time) and the more affordable Pixel 4a (5G). Live photos of both models already appeared online.

The Pixel 5 is expected to receive a Snapdragon 765G processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Inside is a 3,800 or 4,000 mAh battery. The smartphone will probably work on the new Android 11.

In Europe, the smartphone will be available in green and black for 629 euros (≈55,300 rubles). This price already includes VAT (16%). For comparison, the expected price of the base version of the flagship iPhone 12 Pro from Apple is $ 1,049 (≈77,800 rubles) excluding taxes, which are included in the cost of all gadgets in Russia and Europe.

Pixel 4a (5G) will be available in white and black and will cost 499 euros (≈43 900 rubles) for a single modification of 128 GB. The competing iPhone 12, on the other hand, will cost, according to various sources, between $ 699 and $ 749 (51,900 - 55,600 rubles).

According to the well-known leak finder John Prosser, both devices can be presented already on September 30. Previous leaks have stated that this will happen in October. One way or another, it won't be long to wait.
