Electronic Arts has finally launched an EA Play subscription on Steam. For a fixed fee, it opens up access to a huge number of games in different genres. Here are just a few examples of what it already includes:
- Battlefield (all games in the series)
- Dead Space (all games in the series)
- Need for Speed (5 games in the series, including Heat)
- Mass Effect (all games in the series)
- Mirror's Edge and Mirror's Edge: Catalyst
- Plants vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville
- Spore
- Star Wars Battlefront and Battlefront II
- Titanfall 2
- The Sims 3 and The Sims 4
- Unravel and Unravel Two
You can view all offers on subscription page. When new games are released that will not be included in EA Play immediately, the developers will give subscribers the opportunity to play for free for 10 hours to decide: buy the game now or wait until it becomes free. So, on October 1, FIFA 21 will appear in this trial access.
In addition to access to games, you will receive bonuses in the form of exclusive cosmetics and weapons, as well as a 10% discount on any digital purchases from EA, including games and add-ons.
A month of subscription costs 299 rubles, but it is more profitable to subscribe for a year right away: it costs 1,799 (saving 50%). For comparison, the Need For Speed: Heat alone, included in EA Play, costs 3,999 rubles. It's worth noting that the Steam subscription is independent and does not extend to other platforms (such as PS4 or Origin).
