Polaroid has introduced a new compact Hi-Print 2 × 3 printer that allows you to quickly print photos from your smartphone (Bluetooth 5.0 is used for connection). In the proprietary application for iOS and Android, you can not only check the format before printing, but also add filters, stickers or text.
The size of the photos is 5.3 × 8.6 cm, the pictures are protected with a waterproof film. The back side is adhesive: the photo can be directly pasted into an album or placed on the wall. No batteries are needed: the device is charged via micro USB, and the printer can print 20 pictures from one charge. Excluding the Hi-Print 2 × 3 paper cartridge, it weighs 225 g and measures 175 x 101 x 46 mm.
This is a dye sublimation printer - that is, it doesn't need ink cartridges, but it needs special paper to work properly.
