Fitbit held a presentation at which it showed three new products at once: the Versa 3 and Sense smart watches, as well as the Inspire 2 bracelet. Here's what you need to know about them.
Fitbit Versa 3
A stylish watch designed primarily for activity tracking while playing sports - in fact, it is a more elegant alternative to bracelets. In terms of design, the novelty is not much different from the Versa 2. The watch tracks 20 physical activities, controls music via Spotify, Pandora and Deezer, and works with voice assistants from Google and Amazon. They got an OLED touchscreen display, water resistance (up to 50 m) and a new magnetic charging
Versa 3 support Fitbit Pay contactless payment (not working in Russia yet, but there is support for one Belarusian bank - full list here). There is a GPS sensor (for the first time in the series) and the ability to view notifications and answer calls. Autonomy was 6 days without recharging.
Fitbit Sense
This model has the same functions as the Versa 3, and received an additional ECG sensor and thermometer, which allow you to monitor the health of the owner. The skin's electrical activity sensor also allows the device to analyze your stress levels.
The Sense and Versa 3 have a new wristband attachment mechanism, making changing accessories more convenient. Autonomy was also 6 days.
Fitbit Inspire 2
The updated fitness tracker differs from the first generation with a touch-sensitive button on the side (it used to be a mechanical one), as well as twice the autonomy: the Inspire 2 will do without charging for 10 days. Like the original Inspire, it will survive a 50m submersion, remind you to move if you sit for a long time, and can also read your heart rate and sleep phases.
All three new items will go on sale at the end of September, prices are as follows:
- Fitbit Sense 3 - $ 329.99 (~ 24,780 rubles);
- Fitbit Versa - $ 229.99 (~ 17 270 rubles);
