Google to release foldable smartphone Pixel and Pixel 4a 5G

Judging by the new data portal 9to5google, Google Corporation is developing its first bendable smartphone. In the internal documents of the company, he is still referred to under the code name passport marked foldable, that is, "folding".

In 2019, CNET already reportedthat Google is really working on a foldable Pixel. However, then the head of the division noted that the company was only "creating a prototype of the technology," which it was in no hurry to bring to the market.

Together with the folding device, two more models appear in the document leaked to the Web: raven and oriole. All three are scheduled for Q4 2021. This allows us to conclude that we are talking about Pixel 6, Pixel 6 XL and a completely new gadget with an unusual form factor.

The Pixel 4a (5G), Pixel 5 and Pixel 5a, also mentioned in the document, will go far earlier. The first two models are slated for October this year, while the third will be announced in the second quarter of 2021.
