Nubia unveils smartwatch with flexible display

Nubia, a subsidiary of ZTE, announced smart watch Watch. Their main feature was a flexible screen that stretched across the entire front surface of the accessory. Its diagonal was 4.01 inches. Matrix - OLED with a resolution of 960x192 pixels.

The user interface design has been adapted to accommodate non-standard aspect ratios and screen curves at the top and bottom. You can choose from a large set of dynamic wallpapers that emphasize the originality of the device.

The watch case is made of durable 316L steel. It can be made in black, red or green. The straps are replaceable.

Inside is a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The 420 mAh battery provides up to 36 hours of battery life with active use, and about six days in standby mode.

Nubia Watch supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and eSIM for voice calls (when paired with a smartphone). For sports training, a "professional medical sensor" is provided for real-time heart rate monitoring. There is also a sleep phase tracking function and automatic detection of exercises performed.

The price of the Nubia Watch in China was 1,799 yuan (≈18,500 rubles). The start of sales is scheduled for August 5.
