4K documentary footage from the surface of Mars

A quality documentary has appeared on YouTube that shows what the surface of Mars actually looks like. To do this, enthusiasts at ElderFox Documentaries used static rover images captured by NASA over several years. They managed to simulate the movement of the camera, as if the operator was actually filming this video on Mars.
Why was it impossible to simply transmit video from Mars in normal quality? The whole problem is in the transmission speed. The Curiosity Rover can transmit data to Earth at 32Kbps. When connected to an MRO station, the transmission speed increases to 2 Mb / s, but it can only be set for 8 minutes in sol (a Martian day, lasts approximately 24 hours, 39 minutes and 35.244 seconds). In addition, as the authors of the video note, "On Mars, in fact, nothing moves - which means that it is much more logical to transmit static images."
