Just yesterday, the famous insider Roland Quandt in detail told about the Galaxy Note20 Ultra, followed by shared data on a more affordable modification of the flagship - Galaxy Note20. He posted the renders and listed the main differences between the models.
The base Galaxy Note20 will get a slightly more streamlined and compact body. It will have a smaller screen - 6.7 inches versus 6.9. In terms of characteristics, it will also yield: the resolution will be FHD +, and the refresh rate will be 60 Hz. In this case, the display will be completely flat, with no side bends.
The processor is the same - Exynos 990 or Snapdragon 865+. The amount of RAM will be 8 GB, and the built-in memory will be 256 GB. Considering the more compact dimensions, the battery capacity will decrease - 4,300 mAh versus 4,500 mAh for the "older brother".
The main camera will include a different set of modules: the main 12 megapixel with 1.8 µm pixels, a wide-angle 12 megapixel (1.4 µm) and a 64 megapixel telephoto for 3x optical zoom. Also announced is 30x digital zoom and 8K video recording. Selfie camera - 10 megapixels.
Among others: NFC, Bluetooth 5.x, WiFi 6, Dual GPS (dual band), waterproof IP68, S Pen stylus with 26ms response (vs. 9 ms for Galaxy Note20 Ultra), AKG and Android 10 stereo speakers with Samsung One UI 2.x. New product announcement will take place 5th of August.
