Basically, it is a handheld game console that can make calls and support 5G.
It took Lenovo a surprisingly many years to add a smartphone to its Legion line of gaming devices for mobile gaming enthusiasts. The new product, called Lenovo Legion Phone Duel, received top-end features, and the design is completely tailored to the needs of gamers - so much so that other buyers will hardly find it attractive.
Everything in it is oriented towards horizontal use. And the first thing that catches your eye is a 20 megapixel front camera that comes out not from above, but from the side. The main camera (64 + 16 megapixels) is shifted closer to the center of the rear panel so that it is not covered with your fingers during the game. Interestingly, the software is adapted for streaming on Twitch, YouTube and other popular platforms - you you can simultaneously shoot yourself and what is happening on the screen and change the arrangement of the blocks in your own way desire.
The 6.6-inch AMOLED display is 1080p and supports 144Hz refresh rate. The top-end Snapdragon 865+ processor is responsible for the performance. Depending on the modification, you get 12 or 16 GB of RAM - and 256 or 512 GB of storage, respectively.
The 5,000mAh battery supports 90W fast charging, which takes only half an hour to fully recharge. The battery consists of two blocks, due to which the case does not heat up so much, allowing you to play directly while charging. It is noteworthy that USB-C is used for charging on the side of the device, and the second connector from the bottom is for connecting accessories.
The smartphone will be released in China in July under the name Legion Phone Pro, with an international release at a later date. The price has not yet been announced.
