Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra: design and filling

The announcement of the new flagship Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will take place only 5th of August, however, detailed characteristics and high-quality renders of the device have already appeared on the Web. They were shared by renowned insider Roland Quandt, published all the information he knows on the WinFuture portal.

The flagship will receive a traditional design for the series and a curved 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED Infinity Display with a frequency of 120 Hz, a resolution of 3200 × 1440 pixels and tempered Gorilla Glass 7. Above the hole will house a 10 megapixel front camera with autofocus.

The heart of the novelty will be the Exynos 990 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus, depending on the version. The amount of RAM will be 12 GB, built-in memory - 256 or 512 GB. Battery capacity - 4 500 mAh, fast wireless and wired charging via USB-C 3.2 will be supported.

One of the main features of the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will be a camera with a 108 megapixel main sensor (f / 1.8), like Galaxy S20 Ultra

. This module will be complemented by a 12 megapixel wide-angle camera and a 12 megapixel telephoto lens with 5x optical and 50x "space zoom". Apparently, Samsung has decided to abandon the 100x zoom, since in practice the usefulness of this function turned out to be extremely dubious.

Among others: NFC, Bluetooth 5.x, WiFi 6, Dual GPS (dual band), IP68 waterproof, two slots for SIM cards and optional eSIM support, as well as a new S Pen with a latency of just 9 milliseconds. The novelty will work on the basis of Android 10 with the shell Samsung One UI 2.x.

Among the software chips, Wireless-DeX support for displaying images on large screens without wires and smartphone optimization to use the Project xCloud service, which allows you to stream games from Xbox.

The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will cost about 1,000 euros (≈82,400 rubles). More details - August 5th.
