Last year Xiaomi presented budget wireless headphones Redmi AirDots, which were distinguished by a low price tag (99 yuan, or 1,020 rubles) and decent autonomy (12 hours with a case). They turned out to be so popular that this spring came out AirDots S. Now the company has introduced the long-awaited second generation.
In terms of design and most of the characteristics, the new product does not differ from the first generation. The headphones themselves still weigh 4.1 g each, received 7.2 mm drivers and support a double-tap call to the virtual assistant. They connect to the smartphone via Bluetooth 5.0. It is not known whether the main feature of the AirDots S will be here - peer-to-peer connection, which allows you to use any headphone in mono mode.
Of the changes, it is worth noting improved digital noise reduction, which cuts off unnecessary sounds during calls. At the same time, the autonomy remained at the same level: 12 hours when using the charging case.
The novelty was estimated at 99 yuan, or all the same 1,020 rubles. It will be on sale on July 22, but for now, Xiaomi's Chinese fans have the opportunity to pre-order the new product for 79 yuan (≈810 rubles).
