Xiaomi has expanded its line of affordable smartphones with the Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C models. Both new items are equipped with 6.53-inch IPS-screens with a resolution of 1600 × 720 pixels, an aspect ratio of 20: 9 and a notch for a 5 megapixel selfie camera.
Visually, smartphones can be distinguished by the main camera: the Redmi 9A has one module - it is 13 megapixel, while the Redmi 9C has a triple camera with 13, 5 and 2 megapixel sensors. Also, the second has a fingerprint scanner on the back, while the first does not (only face recognition).
Another important difference is the different processors. The Redmi 9A received the MediaTek Helio G25, while the Redmi 9C was equipped with the slightly more powerful MediaTek Helio G35. The amount of RAM and internal memory is identical: 2 GB LPDDR4X and 32 GB eMMC 5.1. It is the same with the battery - in both cases it is 5,000 mAh. For recharge, USB Type-C is used.
Smartphones support 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11b / g / n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and have an IR transmitter and a 3.5mm jack. New items work under the control of the Android 10 operating system with a proprietary MIUI 11 shell. The price of the Redmi 9A was $ 83 (≈5,800 rubles), while the Redmi 9C will cost $ 100 (≈7,000 rubles).
