LG unveils self-cleaning Tone Free headphones

LG has unveiled the new Tone Free, fully wireless in-ear headphones. They will be available in two versions, differing in the type of charging case.

The HBS-FN6 has a UVnano charging case that can clean the earbuds of germs and bacteria while charging. The function works on the basis of ultraviolet radiation, which disinfects the surface of each earphone and silicone ear pads. The HBS-FN4 version will come with a regular charging case.

Both models feature 6mm drivers and sound enhancement technologies from renowned audio brand Meridian Audio. Bluetooth 5.0 is used to connect to smartphones. In terms of autonomy, it claims 5 hours of talk time and 6 hours of listening to music. The case allows you to increase the operating time up to 18 hours. Wireless charging supported.

It is also worth noting support for voice assistants, touch control, moisture protection by IPX4 standard and the ability to quickly recharge - 5 minutes will be enough to listen to music in within an hour. LG Tone Free pricing has yet to be announced.
