Video calls appeared in the beta of Telegram

In the new beta version of Telegram 6.3, video calls were unexpectedly added - this is one of the most anticipated features that users of the messenger were missing.

For this feature to appear, the first step is to make sure you have the latest beta version installed (you can check availability in this channel). Then, in the application, click on the settings icon 10 times to open the debug menu. Scroll down and move the slider next to Experimental Feature to the active position.

To make a call, just open the user's profile and click on the video call icon. Of course, you can only call those who also use beta. In some cases, this button is also displayed in user profiles with an older version, but it leads to a regular audio call without the ability to turn on the camera - this is probably a bug interface.

When this feature will be available to all users and platforms has not yet been announced.
