NetherRealm Studios announced Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath is a paid fighting game add-on that expands the story campaign and adds several new characters.
Judging by the trailer, Aftermath takes place immediately after the finale of Mortal Kombat 11, when Kronika was defeated.
The supplement will open access to three new fighters: Fujin, Shiva and Robocop. The latter first appears in the MK universe. Also, new skins are promised for already available characters.
Aftermath will be released on May 26, along with a free update for Mortal Kombat 11, which will add new locations, fatalities and Friendship finishing moves to the game.
Aftermath can be purchased separately or as part of a large edition that includes the game itself, new fighters and a season pass.
