After the presentation of the new 14-inch Mi NoteBook in India, Xiaomi also introduced the Mi NoteBook Pro 15 (2020) - but already in China. The novelty is available in two versions, which differ significantly in characteristics - which, of course, is reflected in the price tag.
Both models have 15.6-inch FHD displays that cover 100% of the sRGB range, 178 ° viewing angle and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The video card in both cases is NVIDIA MX350. Further, the differences begin. The base model received a Core i5 processor, 8GB of DDR4 RAM and a 512GB SSD.
The older version is equipped with a Core i7, 16 GB of RAM (unfortunately, also DDR4) and a 1 TB SSD. The drive in both cases supports the new NVMe standard (PCI Express interface), which provides faster read and write data.
In terms of connectors, Xiaomi once again pleases: there are two USB-C and USB-A 3.1, as well as HDMI, 3.5 mm ports and a full-size SD card slot. Other features include a fingerprint scanner and an "ultra-precise" touchpad. Two 2.5-watt speakers with Dolby Audio Premium support are responsible for the sound. There is support for Mi Smart Share technology - it provides fast file exchange with Xiaomi smartphones (similar to Apple's AirDrop).
The battery with a capacity of 60 Wh provides up to 17 hours of work in the local video playback mode. It supports fast charging via USB-C: in just 40 minutes, the battery will be recharged by 50%. Moreover, it supports fast charging in and out: from a laptop you can recharge your smartphone at 18 watts.
The novelty has already gone on sale in China, the prices are as follows:
- Core i5 / 8 GB RAM / 512 GB SSD / MX350 - 5,999 yuan (≈58,880 rubles);
- Core i7 / 16 GB RAM / 1 TB SSD / MX350 - 6,999 yuan (≈68,700 rubles).
