Xiaomi presented Mi Band 5 with a new charger

Xiaomi has officially introduced the Mi Band 5 fitness bracelet, the images and characteristics of which appeared on the Web a few days ago. At the presentation, the manufacturer only had to confirm all the leaks and name the price.

Externally, the bracelet has not changed much. It can be distinguished from the Mi Band 4 outright only by the new straps, which in some colors now have a black outline in the capsule area.

The manufacturer himself highlights 7 main features of the Mi Band 5:

• display enlarged by 20%;
• full support for NFC payments, as in Mi Band 4, which now you can pay in Russia;
• function of remote control of the camera of a paired smartphone;
• professional pulse measurement sensor;
• support for 11 sports modes;
• menstrual cycle control function for women;
• magnetic charging - the recharge capsule no longer needs to be removed from the strap.

The enlarged display has made the dials more informative, and the notifications from the smartphone will now be easier to read. More than 100 animated watch faces with characters from popular cartoons are now available to users. Also, the interface has updated icons and minor cosmetic improvements.

In terms of autonomy, the manufacturer promises 3-4 weeks of work without recharge.

The official price of Xiaomi Mi Band 5 was 189 yuan (≈1,900 rubles).
