Timex and Huami released Metropolitan R and S smartwatches

American company Timex released two new smartwatch models named Metropolitan R and Metropolitan S. They are developed in conjunction with Huami and are analogues Amazfit GTR and GTS.

Metropolitan R received a round color AMOLED display, metal case, notched bezel and two buttons on the side. The Metropolitan S has a rectangular display and looks like Apple Watch. It has only one button on the side at the end. Both models are protected from moisture and dust.

Metropolitan R and Metropolitan S get GPS for navigation without a smartphone, heart rate sensor, tracker activity and sleep monitoring, as well as support for all notifications from a paired Android device or iOS. More than 20 preinstalled watch faces are available to users. In terms of autonomy, 14 days of work are declared for each model.

Timex Metropolitan R and Metropolitan S cost $ 179 (≈12,300 rubles). So far, they will be sold only in the USA and Canada.
