Xiaomi introduced a handheld fan without blades

A new budget gadget for summer has appeared on the crowdfunding Xiaomi Youpin - the fan without blades Weiyuan. This compact model weighs only 137 grams and will fit even in a small bag.

The paddle-free design makes this appliance safe even for children: it won't hurt fingers or hair during use. Although the blades are not visible, the fan is actually hidden inside - the air it disperses exits through the holes in the upper part, pleasantly blowing the face. There are three operating speeds, they are switched by pressing a single button on the body.

The battery with a capacity of 2000 mAh provides up to 10 hours of battery life. A full charge via USB-C will take approximately 3 hours.

The Weiyuan fan will go on sale on July 3 at the price of 69 yuan (≈670 rubles). You can pre-order it now for 39 yuan (≈380 rubles) - but only in China.
