Redmi unveils 4K Smart TV X

Together with smartphones Redmi 10X and new laptops a subsidiary of Xiaomi has also announced a line of premium smart TVs Smart TV X. These are top models with a modest price tag and minimal frames.

The novelty is offered in three sizes: 55, 60 and 65 inches. The diagonal of the screen is the only difference between them: the filling and capabilities are identical. In all cases, this is a 4K panel covering 85% of the NTSC color range. There is support for MEMC stabilization technology, which makes fast moving objects clear.

Four 12.5 W speakers are responsible for the sound, complemented by a system of 8 subwoofers. This provides the maximum immersive experience. There is support for Dolby Audio and DTS-HD technologies.

Responsible for performance is a 4-core Novatek processor, supplemented by 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory. There are microphones for voice control. The TV runs on Android TV and comes with a proprietary PatchWall interface that recommends content based on your preferences. You can connect to the image source via HDMI or Wi-Fi.

The novelty has already gone on sale in China, the prices are as follows:

• Redmi Smart TV X55 - 1,999 yuan (≈20,000 rubles);
• Redmi Smart TV X60 - 2,299 yuan (≈23,000 rubles);
• Redmi Smart TV X65 - 3,299 yuan (≈33,000 rubles).
