You can restrict commenting on Twitter
News / / January 03, 2021
Some Twitter users now have a feature to limit the ability to reply to a post. That is, now you can write a tweet and choose who will be able to comment on it: everyone, mentioned users, or just the people you follow.

The official Twitter account confirmed that the function is still being tested - a limited number of users can use it.

These restrictions do not make the tweet hidden from everyone, but only those whom the author specified in the options when sending (or the author himself) can respond to it. Such capabilities will allow users to better control the communication on Twitter, especially when there is no desire to listen to someone else's opinion or argue with someone.
