Xiaomi has announced the new Xiaomi Smart Camera PTZ SE edition. This is the fourth model in the PTZ lineup - and, as is the case with the manufacturer's smartphones, the SE here indicates the lite version. Compared to the standard model, this one offers fewer remote control options and does not support extended color rendering in low light conditions.

The device is equipped with a 2-megapixel camera with support for video recording in Full HD. WDR technology captures more detail even in low light conditions. An infrared sensor is responsible for shooting in the dark. With H.265 encoding, you can watch live video from the camera in good quality with virtually no lag.

The camera is capable of recognizing people and will raise an alarm if it detects suspicious activity. In this case, you will receive a notification and a photo from the camera. At the same time, the camera ignores the movements of animals, equipment, swaying of plants from the wind and everything in this spirit. It syncs with the Mi Home smart home system. For video storage, there is a slot for micro SD cards up to 32 GB, synchronization with NAS servers and Xiaomi cloud storage is also supported.
