On May 6, at a meeting with the President, the head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova presented a plan for Russia to exit the self-isolation regime, which was introduced due to the coronavirus epidemic. It is proposed to remove the restrictions in three stages:
- The first stage provides for the possibility of playing sports on the street, walking with children, opening small shops and service establishments.
- At the second stage, they will be allowed to walk freely, schools and other educational institutions, as well as shops of a larger area, will begin to open.
- The third stage provides for the opening of hotels, catering establishments, as well as parks and squares, but taking into account the observance of social distance.
The head of Rospotrebnadzor did not name the exact timing of the start of lifting the restrictions. According to her, the decision to lift measures in each specific region will be made by its head. In this case, you need to be guided by three indicators - the rate of increase in the incidence of COVID-19, the availability of free beds in hospitals and the coverage of testing.
Sergei Sobyanin, in turn, noted that in Moscow the self-isolation regime will be preserved for now. From May 12, only industrial and construction enterprises will start working.
