Acer has unveiled a new generation of ConceptD hybrid notebooks aimed primarily at artists and designers. The ConceptD 7 Ezel features a relatively small 15.3-inch 4K screen (up from 17.3-inches in last year's ConceptD 9). With a flexible hinge, the display can be rotated to the desired angle - and even pulled out above the keyboard for use in the manner of pen tablets like the Wacom Cintiq.
Given its focus on creative users, it should come as no surprise that the tablet offers full coverage of the Adobe RGB color space. The maximum brightness reaches 400 nits, the screen has an anti-reflective coating. There is support for stylus - it even comes with a Wacom EMR.
For the rest of the characteristics, this is quite normal gaming laptop. It received a 10th generation Intel H-series processor, up to 32 GB of RAM and 2 TB of storage. There is also a more expensive Pro version, which can be installed with an Intel Xeon server processor. Both laptops have Nvidia graphics cards (the Pro supports Quadro RTX) and support RTX Studio, which improves the performance of design and creative programs. Both laptops received two Thunderbolt 3 ports, an SD card slot, DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0.
Along with the new laptops, Acer also launched the ConceptD 700, which targets all the same artists and designers. In its maximum configuration, it can be equipped with an Intel Xeon E processor, Nvidia Quadro RTX 4000 graphics card and 64 GB of RAM. It also received a rather unusual design with a wooden cover that can be used as a mat for wireless charging of the phone and other equipment.
Given the specs and positioning, it's no surprise that all three are not cheap. The price tag for the ConceptD 7 Ezel starts at $ 2,699 (≈167,100 rubles), the release date has not yet been announced. The Pro version was priced at $ 3,099 or 191,870 rubles, it will go on sale in July. Finally, the ConceptD 700 will go on sale in Europe in March starting at € 1,699 (≈117,790 rubles).
