In connection with announced holidays and the recommended self-isolation regime, many today are forced to work directly from home. Lifehacker employees also switched to remote work and shared photos of their workplaces.

The weather is a thrill, it's impossible to sit at home! So I found the perfect remote workspace. Until the sun goes away, we work on the balcony. The main thing here is the close proximity of the sockets.

I work, watch movies, do sports, become more sophisticated with cooking. I feel a little on vacation, because due to the lack of various part-time jobs and tattoos, I have time to do my own projects or even play on my computer (which used to be anrial). I hang out with my cat, sew stupid dolls, draw a lot. An unexpectedly pleasant sleep pattern appeared: I go to bed early - I get up early. I'm going to do some seedlings on the balcony. I'm sad that I don't see people.
Elya Sibishova, Senior Project Manager
My husband and I live in a small studio apartment and today are testing the first day of working remotely. We have one work table (aka dining table), the sofa is a neutral zone, but I won't talk about the room for important negotiations: everyone knows where it is. Wish us luck!

Ideal remote creator setup:
- an ax for productivity;
- computer for logging;
- an empty bottle for the full feeling that the work was done for a reason.

My workplace is my “anti-stress corner”. What is remarkable, I have put together this optimistic composition here even before the virus - just for the joy of the eyes. Antigrustin tea is not only a piece of furniture, I still drink it. 🙂 And the gray animal on the left is a movable plastic 3D model of a pangolin, a real animal.

Nothing has changed for me. As before, I work in my micro-office on the loggia. The approach has changed a bit: recently the laptop is connected to an external display. But this has nothing to do with the coronavirus.

Working remotely is a natural process for me. I've been on it for 13 years now. There were attempts to move to the office, but in the end it did not work out for various reasons. Therefore, the rhythm of life that was offered to the country this week has been tested by me for a long time. Quite a working scheme, I can tell you. The main thing is not to forget about physical activity, otherwise the muscles will atrophy.

I've been working remotely for several years, so the epidemic hasn't changed my workplace in any way. Notebook. Water to keep yourself from drying out (I recommend everyone to keep water on the table so that there is no reason to ignore thirst). One notebook for every worker - sometimes in the process of thinking, you just want to write it down by hand in order to structure the data or not to lose what is important. The second notebook is a bullet-journal for monitoring habits and activities.

I work at a small desk. Usually, I don't need anything other than a laptop, but I still have a bunch of notebooks and notebooks at hand for all occasions. I attach all sorts of things that make me happy on the cork board: family photos, drawings and postcards of my son. If I get tired of sitting at the table, I move to the sofa. But this is a dangerous business: a cat immediately comes and in every possible way knocks off the working mood.

The only inconvenience of working at home for me is the gorgeous weather outside. In Ulyanovsk, for example, it is now about +10 Cº. So I take breaks and go to the store, for example. Some more time is spent on preparing dinner, but this is a good break, a change of activity. For several months I worked at home, I can say that I was freelancing, so there is no problem with remote work for me. It's a pity that now you won't be able to joke with Varlamov or Rogava, but I think that they are even happy about that.
