Due to the outbreak of coronavirus and the cancellation of classes at many universities around the world, online university Coursera opened access to 3,800 online courses in more than 400 directions to partner educational institutions through Coursera for Campus.
If a university has entered into an agreement with an online service, its students will be able to take courses of interest to them for free, as long as they do not have the opportunity to study in their usual form. Official representatives of universities can apply to connect the university to the program through special form. The service promises to consider new applications as soon as possible.
Free access will be valid until July 31st. After that, students will have until September 30th to complete the courses they started. The official website notes that it is possible to extend the free period depending on the situation in the world.
