Xiaomi has introduced two new smartphones: Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max. They turned out to be identical in design and size - both received a 6.67-inch IPS display with FHD + resolution and a hole for the front camera. The body is covered with Gorilla Glass 5.
The Snapdragon 720G processor with the Adreno 618 graphics accelerator is responsible for the performance of the devices. The amount of RAM is 4.6 or 8 GB (LPPDDR4x), and the built-in memory is 64 or 128 GB. There is a possibility of expansion due to microSD cards.
Both models received a 5,020 mAh battery, which, according to the manufacturer, will provide 26 hours of battery life in video playback mode or 11 hours of continuous gaming PUBG. The Redmi Note 9 Pro supports 18W USB Type-C fast charging, while the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max supports 33W. Moreover, the corresponding power adapter is included.
The main difference between the new products was the cameras. In Redmi Note 9 Pro, the front has a resolution of 16 megapixels, and the main module includes sensors for 48, 8 (119 °), 5 (macro) and 2 megapixels (depth of field). The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max has a 32 MP sensor in front, while the main camera has a 64 MP main sensor. The other three cameras are the same.
Also, smartphones received an IR sensor for controlling household appliances, a side fingerprint scanner, a new vibration motor and a 3.5 mm port for connecting wired headphones. The case is P2i coated to resist dripping and splashing. New items work based on Android 10 with MIUI 11 shell.
The gadgets are presented in India. There Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro will cost from 12,990 rupees (≈12,600 rubles), and Pro Max - from 14,990 rupees (≈14,600 rubles). They will go on sale on March 17 and 25, respectively.
