YouTuber Zach Nilsson posted a new video on the JerryRigEverything channel, in which he tested the strength Xiaomi Mi Note 10 with a 108 megapixel camera and an endless display. In the video, a brand new smartphone, barely pulled out of the factory box, was subjected to traditional torture.
Scratches from a knife of 6 levels of hardness on the Mohs scale began to appear on the screen, which is quite standard for modern smartphones, the display also survived the test of fire with dignity. But during the flexion test, the Mi Note 10 turned out to be unexpectedly good: despite all the efforts, Zak could not bend it. He noted that this is "perhaps the most durable Xiaomi smartphone." This is a great achievement considering that even last year's Redmi Mi Note 7 did not survive this test, and in general Xiaomi is "famous" for its smartphones, which bend too easily.
Note that youtuber has not yet tested new flagships Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro - and, given that these are the most expensive smartphones of the brand with the best characteristics, their materials are likely to prove themselves worthy on Zach's test. Last year's Mi 9 coped mediocrely: scratches on the screen appeared already at level 6, a tool of the same hardness could damage the sapphire protection on the camera, and although it survived the flexion test, it flexed noticeably in the process - albeit reversible.
