Alice learned to read web pages aloud

Followed by Google the function of reading web pages was also added by Yandex. She implemented it on the basis of the voice assistant "Alice" in the proprietary browser on Android and Windows. To start voice playback on your PC, you just have to say, "Hey Alice, read this page."

On smartphones, for this you can press the button with headphones: it appears on those sites where Yandex. Browser" knows how to enable reading mode. Scoring of a separate piece of text can be started on any page. To do this, just select a paragraph or several and select "Speak Out" in the context menu.

Pages with large coherent text, "Alice" speaks out entirely, without affecting buttons, banners, menu items and other extraneous elements. This feature will be useful in cases where you want to read an article that you never got around to. Now you can turn it on in the background and go about your business. If you need to distract yourself, you can pause reading and then continue listening from the same place.

The article reading function is available to all users of Android devices and Windows computers. So far it works only in Russian.
